The producers of Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, revealed a few days ago that they are postponing the film's planned August 11 release date because the VFX team needed more time to complete them.


With a new release date in hand, Animal's director Sandeep Vanga Readdy took to social media today to reveal the true cause of the film's delay and to also reveal the new date for its release.  Sandeep claimed that Animal's release date was postponed solely due to "quality," citing the film's seven songs as an example. Since Animal is being released in five languages, Sandeep will need to create an additional 28 songs and work with different lyricists and singers to achieve the same results as he did with the Hindi version. Sandeep also said that he needs time to ensure that the audience doesn't get the impression that they are viewing a Hindi movie with Tamil or Telugu subtitles.
Sandeep also thanked the fans for their positive reactions to the pre-teaser and promised that Ranbir's action-packed persona would also appear in the movie. Last but not least, Sandeep said that the movie's new release date is December 1 and asked viewers to come watch the "vishwaroop of Ranbir Kapoor" in theatres. With this revised release date, Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal, and Fukrey 3 will compete with Animal at the box office. More on: Animal Animal Animal
