Power outage planned for DHHL Maui office | News, Sports, Jobs

The state Department of Hawaiian Home Lands’ Maui District Office will close at 12 p.m. today due to a planned power outage, DHHL announced.

According to Maui Electric Co., old copper lines will be replaced as a precautionary measure.

Office hours will resume at 7:45 a.m. Thursday.

DHHL said those needing assistance during the impacted office hours should leave a message. All messages will be returned the following business day.
